The Nyiragongo is positioned at an elevation of 3470m above sea level within the virunga mountains located 20km  away from Goma town. Its  crater is about 2km  featuring a lava lake.This adventurous hike includes an overnight on the mountain.

Day 1:Tranfer to Goma

It will take  about five hours to be driven  from Kigali to Bukima by our higly skilled driver,have lunch at the stop over and then proceed to Goma to mikeno  lodge for dinner and and overnight stay.

Day 2:hiking the Nyiragongo volcano

Have your early morning breakfast, with your packed lunch, water and dinner, set off for the briefing before your hike. You will then spend the night on the mountain camps.

Day 3: Return from the mountain and Transfer to Kigali

You  will descend from the mountain ,  after your breakfast then proceed to Kigali. You can either go for acity tour or return to your lodge or catch up with your flight.
