Day 1:Transfer to Rwanda
Our driver will pick you from Entebbe airport and cross you over to Rwanda , (Kigali) into your preferred hotel for dinner and an overnight
Day 2: Transfer to Ruhengeri
Have your morning breakfast, and proceed to Ruhengeri , have your lunch at your preferred hotel and set off for a visit at Iby’Iwachu cultural village.Dine and spend your night to prepare for the next morning
Day 3:Trekking gorillas
After your breakfast transfer to the park headquarters at Kinigi for briefing after which you start trekking gorillas in the Rwanda Volcano National park at 8.30 am. It will take you 2 to 8 hours to encounter the mountain gorillas and once found you will be allowed to view, interact and photograph the gorillas for only 1 hour.You will then trace your way back to be driven to your hotel.
Day:5 Transfer to Uganda
After your early morning breakfast transfer to Uganda by road through the Kigezi Highlands “Switzerland of Africa” to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. After resting and having lunch, take a community walk among the Batwa people whose cultural performances will freshen and usher you into excitement. You will have your dinner and overnight at your hotel.
Day 5:Gorilla tracking at Bwindi
After breakfast, proceed for the morning briefing before enjoying the highlight of the trip- Gorilla trekking, which may last the entire day. Trek through the rain forest and bamboo covered slopes, accompanied by a guide and trackers, in search of a mountain gorilla family. The trek may last for a duration of about 8 hours and on sighting the gorillas, you will spend an hour: viewing, interacting and taking photographs., after which you descend to meet our driver to drive you back to your lodge.
Day 6:Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
You will be transfered to lake Mburo National park after your breakfast, have en route lunch as you enjoy the spectacular features along your way as you head for your game drive and expect to see Cape buffalo, herds of zebra, and eland, topi plus oribis. As for bird watchers you may have more than 250 bird species to enjoy including the Carruther’s Cisticolas, Papyrus Gonoleks, the extraordinary White-winged Warbler, Bare-Faced Go-away bird and brown-faced Lapwings. You shall dine and have the night at your lodge or hotel.
Day 7:Chimp tracking at Kibale national Park
After breakfast take a 45-minute drive to Kibale National Park, where you will spend the day hiking through the Kibale Forest in search of chimpanzees and other primates. we locate the chimps by listening for their pant-hooting calls, then hustle to the area from which they are calling. We get to observe them as they feed in fruiting trees, lounge, and socialize with each other, or even, occasionally, hunt.
In the afternoon we visit a nearby forest swamp that is excellent for viewing primates and other forest animals.Expect to find birds like; great Blue turaco, blue monkeys, baboons, otters, mongoose, bush bucks, bush pigs etc
Day 8:Departure
Have a relaxed breakfast and proceed to kampala via Mubende ,with en-route lunch as you enjoy the breathtaking scenery and delightful rolling plains and later drop off in hotel or airport to catch up with your scheduled flight.
